This week’s lunches were simple and quick due to the fasting that we are doing. Nothing to taxing or creative though 😦 This will probably continue til after Hari Raya Puasa aka Eid-Ul-Fitr, as I will be busy baking cookies and biscuits for the festivities.
Mon: Stir-fried asparagus, mushrooms and peppers with shrimp, rice, grapes and lychees, and Spiderman edible icing
Tues: Bolognaise wraps, baked beans, baked tortilla chips and mango cubes
Wed: Baked carbonara wholewheat pasta, baby carrots, apricot and nectarine cup
Fri: Pizza wraps, steamed asparagus and cheese sauce, nectarine
For the Bolognaise wraps, I used dinner’s spaghetti bolognaise sauce and used it as a filling for the onion-and-chive wrap. As for the Pizza wraps, we had tomato sauce spread on the wraps and filled with pineapple, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. Both were well-received by MilkyBar so I think these will go into a more frequent rotation.
